More Merchandise for the Jets' Faithful
June 18th, 2010

After listening to feedback from their supporters the Coventry Jets, in association with Football America UK, are pleased to announce that they will be expanding their already extensive merchandise range. Adam Biggs, Youth Team Head Coach and Merchandise Co-ordinator, has been liaising with Dave Hagger at Football America UK to help the Jets offer more choice to their ever increasing fanbase.

“With teams at every level of American football in the UK and a good mixture of fans at our home games, it is important that we listen to our stakeholders so that we can offer a diverse range of merchandise that meets their needs” said Biggs. “With this in mind I have been in contact with Dave to see if there is more that we can offer. Over the next few weeks fans and players alike will be able to see more new designs which will complement the impressive range of t-shirts, baseball caps, hoodies and shorts that are already available.”

As well as looking the part off the field the Jets will be looking to gain their first victory of the 2010 season on it this weekend against the reigning national champions, the London Blitz at Finsbury Park Stadium. The Jets have never won in London but having played the Blitz last weekend at the Butts Park Arena, and missing out on victory by two points, they will travel to the capital looking to overturn the result and kick start their season.

The Jets currently stand 0-3, their worst start to a season since their debut in 2004, though have lost their last two games against the Blitz and Bristol Aztecs, currently the top two teams in the Premier League standings, by a combination of four points. With Stuart Franklin taking the reigns as Head Coach the Jets will be close to full strength and will want to make an impression on their new commander in chief.
